Find me one like itPatek Philippe Aquanaut 5066A Japan: One of 500, Complete
The Aquanaut arrived in 1997 as Patek's relaxed alternative to the Nautilus, and the 5066 refined it with a sapphire caseback that showed off the automatic caliber 330 SC. For the Japanese market, Patek made a version of its own: the 5066A Japan edition, limited to 500 pieces, with a blue embossed dial and a matching blue tropical strap in place of the usual black.
This example is about as complete as they come. It was delivered as a full set with its Certificate of Origin, the original blue Patek Philippe box, the original blue strap and a whole collection of the Japanese documentation and accessories it left the dealer with. The lume has taken on an even, creamy tone over the years, while the dial itself remains in excellent condition. It was also one of the very first watches we placed, and one we still talk about.
