Most 5066As are seen on the tropical strap, but Patek also offered the reference on a steel bracelet, and that version is far less common. It turns the Aquanaut into a fully integrated steel sports watch and changes its character completely.
This example came as a full set, with the factory steel bracelet as well as two original tropical straps, one black and one brown, so it could be worn three different ways. It was accompanied by its original Patek Philippe box, papers and an Extract from the Archives, and presented in impeccable condition.
Design & Movement
36mm stainless steel case, black embossed dial, sapphire caseback, automatic caliber 330 SC with date. Fitted to the factory steel bracelet, with original black and brown tropical straps included.
Provenance & Condition
Full set with box, papers and Extract from the Archives, steel bracelet plus two original straps. Impeccable condition. Sold.
