Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 4100ST Grey: Serviced, in Exceptional Condition

When the Royal Oak arrived in 1972, its 39mm case was enormous by the standards of the day. By the end of the decade Audemars Piguet answered with the reference 4100: the same octagonal bezel, the same eight hexagonal screws and the same integrated bracelet, brought down to 35mm. It was the first mid size Royal Oak, and the starting point for every 36mm reference that followed.

This example is the all steel 4100ST, with a grey dial that turns towards blue as the light changes. The condition is exceptional for a watch of this age. It has had a full service by Wempe, with the service papers to show for it, and we have requested an Extract from the Archives from Audemars Piguet to confirm its production year.

Design & Movement
35mm stainless steel case and bezel, grey Petite Tapisserie dial with applied indexes and date, integrated steel bracelet. Inside is AP's automatic movement with date, fully serviced by Wempe.

Provenance & Condition
Exceptional condition. Full service by Wempe, with papers. Extract from the Archives requested and pending arrival.

The Royal Oak 4100ST: the first mid size Royal Oak, in the condition you hope to find.
