In 2016 Rolex gave the steel Daytona a black Cerachrom bezel for the first time, a nod to the black bezel Daytonas of the 1960s. Paired with the white dial and black subdials, the 116500LN became the Panda, and for most of its production run the steel watch everyone wanted. It was succeeded by the 126500LN in 2023.
This example is from 2021, delivered as a full set and never worn.
Design & Movement
40mm Oystersteel case with black Cerachrom tachymeter bezel, white dial with black subdials. Automatic chronograph calibre 4130 with approximately 72 hours of power reserve. Fitted to the Oyster bracelet.
